A very rare vintage 1970s Girard Perregaux High Frequency manual wristwatch, gold plated case set with a brown leather bracelet. The case houses calibre 30.7 movement, based on the manual wind calibre AS 1687/1688. The movement is high frequency, ticking at 36000 A/h, the first ever used high frequency Girard Perregaux watch. The steel back plate is inscribed with a dedication from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and dated 1981.
